November marked another month of steady progress and enriching experiences for the English Language Department. Classroom instruction placed a strong focus on developing accuracy and expanding students’ range of vocabulary and grammar structures, particularly through collaborative projects that brought together learners from Turkey, Japan, North Macedonia, Algeria, and many other countries. Through debates, role-plays, and peer feedback activities, students refined their speaking skills and learned to communicate more clearly across cultures. Outside the classroom, November’s cooler weather provided the perfect backdrop for themed cultural visits, including museum tours and seasonal Christmas events across London, giving students from these diverse backgrounds valuable opportunities to practise English in authentic contexts. |

November has been another dynamic and engaging month for our HE Hospitality Management and International Travel and Tourism Management programmes. Students continued to strengthen their academic, professional, and interpersonal skills through a combination of face-to-face and online learning. During lessons, emphasis was placed on practical applications of industry theory, with students participating in interactive workshops, group projects, and case studies that foster collaboration, problem-solving, and effective communication. In addition, students explored emerging trends in hospitality and tourism, reflecting on how these developments impact real-world practice. The hybrid learning approach has allowed learners to engage actively, share diverse perspectives, and build confidence in applying knowledge to professional scenarios. Overall, November has been characterized by high engagement, thoughtful contributions, and continued progress across both programmes. |
