This July, the English Language Department at Docklands Academy London has been buzzing with activity across both our online and face-to-face classes. Our IELTS, General English, and child students have continued to develop their language skills through engaging lessons tailored to their needs. Alongside classroom learning, we have enjoyed several exciting educational trips, including visits to Camden Market, Mudchute Farm, Greenwich, and the National Maritime Museum, giving students the chance to practise English in real-world settings while exploring London’s vibrant culture. It has been a month full of learning, laughter, and connection! |

HNC students finalised their first year, as welll as HND students that have finalised their second year in the Hospitality Managment programme. The students seem to have been battling the dilemma between the joy of finishing their studies and the sadness of leaving their peers and lecturers. Our students have collected many memories throughout their studies; now, they are members of our alumni, and will continually be welcome at our Academy. All the Academy stakeholders attended several activities such as International Food Day experienced by HM students, a london city tour experienced by ITTM students, webinars on Paraphrasing, Emotional Intelligance for Leaders, University Top-Up Processes and many more. We wish a well deserved summer break for all our students. See you in September! |

Work Experience at DAL Docklands Academy London was pleased to host a number of enthusiastic work experience students from local schools, including Canary Wharf College, Woodhouse Sixth Form, Mulberry Academy Shoreditch, Central Foundation Girls’ School, and Blackfen Girls’ School. Throughout June and July, they supported various departments across the academy, gaining hands-on experience in English language teaching support, administrative tasks, and the day-to-day operations of a higher education environment. We truly appreciated their energy, curiosity, and hard work, and we wish them all the best in their academic journeys. |
